Nancy Noël was a renown painter, a visionary in her business, and an activist in her life. Nancy Noël created not just paintings, but a life that became her art’s inspiration.
Through her images and their creation, we see the world as Nancy saw it.
Shortly before she passed in 2020, Nancy sat for an audio interview with her son, Alex. They discussed her childhood, her triumphs, her animals, and much more. This conversation, the last account of an artist at the height of her powers, drives the narrative of our film.

As Nancy’s son, Alex Kosene has had the privilege of writing stories and making short videos about his mother for the past 30 years. Over his career, Alex has worked in Hollywood, sports television, independent films, and advertising. He is the founder of 3rd Strand, a video production company based in Brooklyn, NY.

Amy Pauszek is a true lover of indie films and has worked as a key producer and publicist in several award winning feature films, shorts, TV, and commercials. She is also a freelance photographer for magazine and newspaper publications and provides still photography for many local and syndicated television productions. She serves on the board at The Heartland International Film Festival, Actors Theatre of Indiana and Advisory Board for The Indiana Conference for Women. Amy is a Casting/Scout for Talent Fusion Agency, Indianapolis,IN. You can often find her covering red carpet events for TV, film, and Broadway.

Sami Issa Mustaklem has spent his career working in multiple roles of content creation. From writing/directing/editing films to producing and developing original ad campaigns as a partner at 3rd Strand Productions. Short films, TV documentaries, music videos, Masterclasses, and more, Sami has done it all. Born and raised in Indianapolis, he moved to New York City in 2010, but now works from Oxford, England. Sami is married with a dog and his young son, Issa.

Inés Martina was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she began singing and performing at a very young age. After studying film at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU), she moved to New York City to study theatre at HB Studio. What was meant to be a three month program, became a life-changing journey. Since 2013, NYC has been her permanent home. Inés oversees casting, styling and crewing for 3rd Strand, with an emphasis on placing women in lead creative roles.
